Diana Anderson

Diana Anderson was the Exhibits Coordinator at the Red Deer and District Museum for thirty years. From 2008 to 2010, she was the Gallery Coordinator for bilton art gallery in Red Deer, AB. In September of 2010, she was hired as the Red Deer Arts Council Coordinator and retired at the end of 2018. She holds a Diploma in Art and Design from the Red Deer College, and a Bachelor of Arts (Special) with Distinction from the University of Alberta, majoring in Art History with a minor in English Literature. In 1998, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from Red Deer College. In 2004, she received the Distinguished Service Award from Museums Alberta and in 2008, the Mayor’s Recognition Award in Citizenship for Continuous Voluntary Service from the City of Red Deer.

Ms. Anderson has always been passionate about the arts and is happy to still be working with visual, literary and performing artists in her work with the Red Deer Arts Council as the Visual Arts Chair and Kiwanis Gallery Curator as a volunteer since the beginning of 2019.
