As a registered non-profit charitable organization, the Red Deer Arts Council relies on earned revenue, grants and donations to secure our future ability to connect arts and culture to our community.
Community support assists us in the following:
- to promote and market the arts in the community to ensure awareness and acceptance and to raise the profile of art and artists in the community
- to promote ongoing networking to share knowledge and experience
- to develop a stronger voice for the literary, performing, visual arts and arts & cultural organizations in our community
- to encourage cooperative planning and partnering of arts groups, businesses and others in the community
