The HUB

The Hub: A Place for You to Shine!
The Hub is a weekly arts program aimed at serving our vibrant community of people with developmental, cognitive, and physical disabilities! This program celebrates individuals through arts and culture activities to find meaningful outlets for self-expression and growth!
The City of Red Deer, the YMCA Northside Community Centre and several granting agencies across the city and region helped us re-create the magic in a new space. We at the Red Deer Arts Council believe that these folks matter and deserve a space full of creativity, self-expression, belonging, and social integration.
We have implemented a fee to attend the Hub of $5.00 per visit by individuals with diverse needs. This amount, payable in cash upon arrival, will be used towards the continuing administration of the program, art supplies, equipment, rent, and leadership costs. A receipt is provided upon payment. Forgot your cash? No problem. We don't want to turn anyone away, and if you need to discuss an alternative, please talk with Jason or Suzanne. We want to help and we want to ensure you feel welcome and included.
