If you like working with projects, this is a committee that may fit your style of volunteering. Ideal committee members will have a passionate interest or experience in the arts and a commitment to promoting and developing the arts in the community. Contact us for information.

The Activation Committee plans, develops, organizes and implements workshops and special events that will support the arts community in its development, with an emphasis on representing all sectors (visual, literary, performing and cultural) equitably, and geared to arts organizations and artists in Red Deer and area.

We further promote ongoing networking to share knowledge and experience via our workshops and Creative Connections social events and our arts and culture social at the Troubled Monk. The event is held every other month on the second Tuesday at 6:30 pm as a means of furthering connections between various artists of all genres. (Sept, Nov, Jan, Mar, May, June for Summer news!) Troubled Monk #1, 5551 45 Street (Cronquist Business Park)
