Annie Burik is a dynamic business owner, and one of a kind artist whose creative journey weaves through graphic design, fine arts, and entrepreneurial ventures. Originally from Montreal, Annie now proudly represents the vibrant art scene and culture of Alberta, where her multidisciplinary talents have flourished over the past 25 years.
Annie's artistic career began in the realms of graphic design and fine arts, where her innovative spirit and keen eye for detail quickly set her apart. Her work has been celebrated through two published books, where her illustrations brought to life the pages of two beloved children’s books. These publications highlight her ability to create engaging and enchanting visual narratives that resonate with audiences of all ages. She was also published internationally in a graphic design compilation of artists and designers from around the world. You can find her technical design tutorials in “Galleria 2002 – Graphic design”.
In 2023, Annie decided to expand her career goals and vision as an entrepreneur. She graduated from BWCA Business School and launched ABC Creation & Design. Her new business is a venture that reflects her commitment to blending traditional art and design. Through her business, Annie offers a range of services including logo design and comprehensive business promotional materials, helping clients elevate their brand identity with creative flair.
In addition to her design work, Annie has embraced her role as an art educator and community connector. She hosts Paint parties and teaches art classes to individuals of all ages, fostering creativity and providing a platform for others to explore their artistic potential while having fun socializing. Her approach to teaching is both inclusive and inspiring, making art accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
Annie Burik is a proud member of the Red Deer Arts Council and serves on their board of directors. Her skills and events coordination experience set her apart in her community involvements. Annie is also vice-president of the Penhold Museum & District Society, where she also teaches weekly art classes. Her love and dedication to her local community is shown and reflected in her personal and career path as a business owner.
