In July 2025, the Red Deer Arts Council and the Sendero Centre teamed up for a Muskoka chair silent auction to raise funds for their Creative Hub and Survivor Support programs. The two organizations have joined forces with local artists and a local woodworker to bring the community this event of art and charity. The wonderful hand built and hand painted chairs, with paint donated by Benjamin Moore Red Deer, were displayed at Gasoline Alley Farmers Market and the Heritage Day Hootenanny at Red Deer Museum + Art Gallery where folks could see the artwork up close.
Over $2600 was raised between the 7 chairs below!

The Red Deer Arts Council is now fundraising through the Red Deer Bingo Centre. We've got volunteer shifts available throughout 2025 and we'd be grateful for your support. Shifts are approximately 4.5 hours long and take place in a smoke-free facility.
