I became interested in the arts in 2019, when it occurred to me that the arts create a form of perpetual energy, in that as long as a piece of art (or music) exits, it can foster an emotion in someone indefinitely. Over and over. That captivated me, and could I try to capture that? For myself and others to experience. To that end, I have been learning and trying new techniques. Then again, just about everything is new. I seem to include texture in my pieces, and usually end up in the mixed media realm, but my favorite medium is working with oil.
