Heidy Panameno

A graduate of the Emily Carr University with a major in Film and Video production, Heidy’s inspiration comes from her parents, Saint Romero, and her high school teacher, Melrose Randell. Heidy was the recipient of the Millennium Scholarship and received an Alberta Motion Picture Association Nomination for her first pilot film “Escape”. The TELUS StoryHive Documentary Fund awarded Heidy a grant to produce “Breaking Stigmas”, a project focusing on the strengthening of Culture in Central Alberta. A recipient of several awards, Heidy’s biography has been preserved in the Women’s Art Museum of Canada. A published author through Random House/Penguin and Exlibris Publishers, Heidy has a business certificate, and is the owner of Panameno Productions.
