The art I make fulfills two roles. Firstly, I create to know that I can and to explore the creativity that I know resides within me. If I cease to explore my creative soul then I cease to explore those elements that make me me. Secondly, I create to explore the world around me and to interpret that world to the world. If I do not live within the world and interpret that world as I see it then I am shirking one of my responsibilities as a human being. Whether as a performing artist or as a visual artist, it is my responsibility to reflect society back unto itself so that as a community we may understand ourselves and the world we inhabit.
Paul works in many diverse mediums such as paint, sculpture, drawing etc.
