Red Deer Pottery Club
Welcome to the Red Deer Pottery Club!
The Red Deer Pottery Club (RDPC) offers residents from Red Deer and surrounding areas the opportunity to express themselves artistically through clay. We provide a safe and welcoming atmosphere in the Recreation Centre where club members can meet, socialize, and share ideas and create works of art. We honour long standing members and respect them for the wealth of information that they can provide. We share equally in maintaining the cleanliness of the studio while ensuring the safety of everyone who uses it.
We are a club that welcomes new members who already have a basic understanding about working with clay, and provides support to help them continue to learn and become more proficient with all aspects of pottery. Due to the inherent hazards of pottery, RDPC can only accept new members who have taken pottery classes facilitated by the City of Red Deer or an accredited institution.
We have a revolving exhibition of members’ pieces in our display case located in the public area by our studio in the basement of the Recreation Centre.
