Teena Dickerson

Dr Teena Dickerson is a metal artist, educator, and arts-based researcher from eastern Canada. Dickerson works primarily in metal, stone, vegetable ivory, and wood in studio practice and specializes in the lost wax casting process focussed on sculptural work in the bronze foundry. Teena Dickerson has received nominations and awards from the Canadian Society for Education through Art, the Red Deer Arts Council, and the City of Red Deer. As a practicing artist, Dickerson has exhibited her work at the Red Deer Museum and Art Gallery, the Viewpoint Gallery, and Alberta Craft Council galleries in Edmonton and Calgary. Teena Dickerson is currently a passionate, creative, and curious faculty member at Red Deer Polytechnic.
