The Kiwanis Gallery in Red Deer is holding a juried members exhibition from February 10 to April 19, 2026. Entries must be submitted to the Red Deer Arts Council by 4:30 pm on December 19th, 2025.
Entries should in some way relate to the theme Contemporary Art. The theme is open to interpretation by artists whether literally or metaphorically. We look forward to presenting the variety and different perspectives that our members will explore through their art.
We offer the following that may inspire some fruitful thinking:
Contemporary art reflects current social, cultural, and political issues, engaging viewers in a dialogue about identity, technology, and global concerns. Contemporary is also artistic expressions created by living artists in today’s current times.
Themes driven by the environment, political uncertainty, new emerging technologies, and expression of individual visual storytelling could be used for inspiration Consider what themes your work explores. What is Contemporary Art to You?
